Starfire glass feature is best shown in this photo. Notice how this glass does not change the color of the white wall or the tile. As clear glass gets thicker the green cast becomes more noticeable. Sometimes this is not importan, but if you want to display true colors that are seen through glass starphire glass is key in allowing to do so. The use of Starfire glass keeps the colors true to life, notice how the tiles and wall don't lose it's color through the glass..

Starfire Glass is a lead free, low iron product that represents the very best in making glass trophies, although not clear enough to be called "crystal". Aslight blue tint is evident in the mostly-clear products.

Please contact us to verify that we can cut the shape you desire with either a drawing, picture or diagram of the shape. A pattern is required before we can cut the glass for you. This pattern is usually created from paper, wood and/or cardboard.

Edgework:

This is the shaping or finishing of the edges of a glass surface, usually by grinding with an abrasive wheel. Pencil Polished edge in a Satin finish (also available in clear finish) is the most common type of edgework on mirrors. Although this is not as common on mirrors as it is on glass. Beveled edges can also be applied to any of these edge finishes. See the Beveling section

Beveling

This is the production, by abrasion, of a sloping edge on the glass sheet which is commonly used on mirror glass. Beveling of mirror edges creates a very elegant and lavish appearance. It is often used for wall and vanity mirrors. The beveling process uses diamond grinding wheels to remove a portion of the glass edge and then uses felt wheels and polishing compound to bring the edge to a shiny clear finish once again.
